Rehearsal photography is a great source of social media and PR content – which is so important for marketing your production. The objective is to enthuse your audience by providing “sneak preview” access to your rehearsal activity to help create and build the anticipation of the live performances.
I have experience of working in rehearsal environments to capture candid “in-the-moment” images that show the fun and hard work of rehearsals.
Many companies attempt this themselves with mixed results: combining rehearsal space lighting and fast movement makes it preferable to use the appropriate equipment in the right way capture strong images.
How i work
It’s simple: I’ll attend your rehearsal and photograph what happens!
Depending on the layout of your rehearsal space, I’ll try to move around to cover as much of the activity as possible without interrupting the flow of your rehearsal. I’ll be using professional equipment that is quiet, to avoid distractions.
After the rehearsal I’ll provide you with the images I captured (typically at least 30-40 per rehearsal).
